I'm finding it difficult to write this review because there were so many good bits, and so many bad. If you're expecting an action shoot em up, forget it. Clive Owen is an investigator with Interpol which is really a information gathering and dissemination organisation. They are not police or special forces. So then you would expect this to be a thought provoking movie. But it's not really because everything is s-p-e-l-l-e-d out.
Naomi Watts is hopeless; nothing but a budget version of Kidman and neither can act for shit.
The bad guy wears a nice suit. But he's a banker – how scary can he be?
I think the problem was with the trailers. The trailers actually use footage that isn't in the movie. At no time does any one use an ATM where the options are Guns, Ammo, Murder. That's actually false advertising. Now I'm pissed off.
There's a review of this movie on IMDb and the guy rants on about how wonderful the director is and how great his last movies were. You know what fella – it's a friggin movie and if I'm not entertained or informed then you've screwed me in the dark. So fuck you and fuck this movie.
1/10 (Because some of it was in New York and they shot the shit out of the Guggenheim)
