They were too cheap and or lazy to send a photographer to cover the arrival of Cunard’s Queen Mary II maiden voyage arrival in Sydney Harbour. Instead they want the public to send in some pix via email and SMS. We’ll, I’ve got some fantatic pix and the SMH can have them for $10K. In fact, the story isn’t even from a SMH journo – it’s from our old friends at AAP.

I just watched LIVE pictures of Cunard’s Queen Mary II arriving in Sydney Harbour. Just one problem; I live on Sydney Harbour and the LIVE pictures TCN 9 was putting to air were 10 – 15 minutes old! I wonder how many times they do this?
This story quotes a website, with no bona fides, which quotes, ‘police sources’.
This is not news, it’s heresay, nothing more. The Herald, for whom I write on a non-paid basis, should be ashamed for re-publishing such drivel from AFP.
